Directions:
-
Effective Scale Removal for HVAC Systems
- Drain and Flush: Completely drain and flush the HVAC system to remove existing water.
- Remove Debris: Remove any loose debris or particles from the system.
- Stop Bleed-Off: Close any bleed-off valves to prevent water loss.
- Add Acid: Fill the system with fresh water and then add two pounds of DRY ACID SCALE REMOVER for every 10 gallons of water.
- Circulate: Circulate the acid solution throughout the system until all scale is removed.
- Monitor pH: Use the included pH indicator strips to determine if the acid solution is neutralized or if more acid is needed.
- Multiple Dosages: For severely scaled systems, multiple doses may be required. However, do not exceed two doses per water cycle.
- Repeat if Necessary: If all scale is not removed after two doses, drain the system, repeat the procedure, and flush out the acid before refilling with fresh water.
Important Note: Do not dispose of the cleaning solution on lawns or shrubs.
