The promise of “We Got You Covered” is rooted in a rich history of innovation that began in 1953. Founded by Gail Garner as a “junction of Evaporator and Condenser,” Vapco’s core focus was on developing cutting-edge, safe, and affordable HVACR products. Many products used today, such as bubble leak detectors and aerosolized spray insulation, were first introduced by Vapco.
Upon Gail’s retirement, his son Scott took the helm, propelling the company forward with even more industry firsts. Scott spearheaded the creation of the world’s first PVC fusion product and a full line of single-inject maintenance products for AC systems ranging from under 1 ton to 125 tons with a single inject. Our commitment to you has also meant leading the way in safety and environmental responsibility.
Today, Scott continues to lead the company with his wife, Helen, and their son, Elliot. This multi-generational family leadership ensures that the promise of having you “Covered for Generations” remains as strong as ever.
