Bird Dog Low Temp DOGLT- 1Q, 1

BIRD DOG LOW TEMP is the industry’s most sensitive leak detector, specifically formulated to pinpoint leaks with precision in extreme cold down to -20°F. This Zero VOC, oxygen-safe solution creates long-lasting bubbles, making it an essential tool for HVAC professionals working in frigid environments.

BIRD DOG LOW TEMP

The Ultimate Leak Detector for Cold Environments

BIRD DOG LOW TEMP, the industry’s most sensitive leak detector designed for extreme cold conditions. With its exceptional low-temperature performance, BIRD DOG LOW TEMP is ideal for HVAC systems operating in frigid environments as low as -20°F. Maintains super sensitive leak detection and is the ideal solution for pinpointing leaks where it’s too cold for standard leak detectors. Its bubbles last longer than other leading brands, and its hyper sensitive formula finds micro leaks that other methods miss. Bird Dog Low Temp formula is perfect for detecting micro and macro leaks. It is non-toxic and biodegradable and suitable for all types of refrigerant, nitrogen, natural gas, oxygen and A2L systems.

Key Features and Benefits:

  • Hypersensitive Detection: Pinpoints leaks with exceptional accuracy.
  • Long-Lasting Bubbles: Clings where you need it, bubbles till you see it.
  • Non-Corrosive to metals: cleans off easy but will not corrode metals if left behind. (avoid galvanized metals or clean with water after applied)
  • Safe for All Systems: Compatible with refrigerants, nitrogen, natural gas, oxygen and A2L refrigerants.
  • 0% VOC Content: Environmentally friendly and non-toxic.
  • Low-Temperature Performance: Effective down to 32°F.

Part Number:                    Size

  • DOGLT-1Q               1 Quart – 12/cs
  • DOGLT-1                  1 Gallon – 4/cs

Before Application:

  • Avoid Galvanized Metal: If possible, avoid applying BIRD DOG LOW TEMP to galvanized metal to prevent removal of galvanization. Rinse thoroughly if applied.

Application:

This product must be used in accordance with the following directions and by professionals only.

    1. Thorough Application: Spray or swab BIRD DOG generously onto the surfaces you want to inspect.
    2. Visual Inspection: Carefully examine the surfaces for the presence of bubbles – some leaks may take time to form bubbles, be patient. Inspect bottom and backside of all fittings.
    3. Identify Micro Leaks: Small clusters of bubbles or white foam often indicate micro leaks.
    4. System Operation: Turn on the system for 5-10 minutes to check for vibration-induced leaks.
    5. Leak Sealants: If leaks are present, consider Vapco Xpress Injects to help seal leaks permanently where appropriate.
