Directions:
This product must be used in accordance with the following directions and by professionals only.
For Sanitizing Ice Machines and other Food Dispensing Equipment:
- Turn off Equipment.
- Wash and Rinse: Wash equipment with a compatible detergent and rinse with potable water prior to sanitizing
- Prepare Solution: Dilute 1 oz. of ICE MACHINE SANITIZER per 1.5 gallons of water.
- Apply Solution: mechanically spray, directly pour or recirculate through the system. Allow surface to remain wet or solution to remain in equipment for at least 60 seconds.
- Drain and Power On: drain equipment thoroughly and allow to air dry before reuse.
For Sanitizing Food Contact Surfaces:
- Pre-Clean: Remove any food particles and presoak heavily soiled areas.
- Wash and Rinse: Wash with detergent or a compatible cleaner, then rinse with water.
- Prepare Solution: Dilute 1 oz. of ICE MACHINE SANITIZER per 1.5 gallons of water.
- Apply and Soak: Apply the solution to the surface using a cloth, sponge, mop, or coarse trigger sprayer. Ensure the surface remains wet for at least 1 minute.
- Drain and Air Dry: For eating utensils and drinking glasses, immerse them in the solution, drain, and air dry. Do not rinse.
For Restaurant and Bar Use:
- Sanitize Dishes, Glassware, and Utensils: Dilute 1 oz. of ICE MACHINE SANITIZER per 1.5 gallons of water.
- Remove Food Particles: Ensure surfaces are free from food particles before sanitizing.
- Presoak and Wash: Presoak heavily soiled areas and wash with detergent before applying the sanitizer.
- Immerse in Solution: Immerse dishes, glassware, silverware, eating, and cooking utensils in the sanitizing solution for 1 minute.
- Drain and Air Dry: Drain and air dry the items. Do not rinse.
Additional Notes:
- Fresh Solution Daily: Prepare a fresh sanitizing solution daily or more often if the solution becomes diluted.
- Avoid Reusing for Sanitizing: Solutions used for mechanical applications should not be reused for sanitizing.
- Food Safety Precautions: Remove or protect food products and packaging materials in federally inspected meat and poultry plants and dairies.
