Directions:

Effective Leak Sealing for HVAC Systems

Traditional Method:

  1. Power On: Turn on the AC system and verify it’s running.
  2. Connect Xpress Inject: Connect the Xpress Inject to the low-side service port.
  3. Connect Refrigerant Hose: Connect the manifold refrigerant hose to the refrigerant supply tank. Ensure both high and low-side valves are closed.
  4. Purge Hose: Purge the low-pressure hose before connecting to Xpress Inject.
  5. Open Valve and Monitor: Open the low-side valve and watch for the tube to clear. Close the valve and turn off refrigerant gas once the tube is clear.
  6. Disconnect and Recharge: Disconnect the low-side hose from Xpress Inject, install the service port cap, and run the AC unit for at least one hour.

Directions for Direct Inject Hose:

  1. Power On and Check: Turn on the AC system and verify the compressor is running and the system is fully charged.
  2. Connect Hose: Connect the “A” side of the hose to the high-pressure service port, ensuring the ball valve is closed.
  3. Connect Injector Tube: Carefully thread the male end of the injector tube into the “B” side of the hose. Avoid depressing the valve.
  4. Remove Air: Crack open and close the ball valve to remove air from the hose.
  5. Connect Injector Tube: Thread the injector tube into the “B” side of the hose.
  6. Open Valve and Inject: Open the ball valve and let refrigerant flow through. Then, inject the product into the system.
  7. Close Valve and Disconnect: Close the ball valve and disconnect the hose and injector from the unit.
  8. Release Charge: Remove the tube from the “B” side of the hose and open the ball valve to release the charge.

Using the Direct Inject Gun:

  1. Power On: Turn on the AC system and verify it’s running.
  2. Connect Xpress Inject: Connect the Xpress Inject to the Direct Inject Gun, and then connect the other end to the low-side service port.
  3. Inject Sealant: Briefly pull the trigger to inject the sealant into the system.
  4. Disconnect and Run: Disconnect the empty tube from the low-side port and install the service port cap. Run the AC unit for at least one hour.

Note: For optimal results, follow these directions carefully and consult the product label for additional information.
