NICKEL GUARD is a specialized cleaner formulated to effectively remove limescale buildup from galvanized, stainless steel, and nickel-plated surfaces. Its powerful, non-foaming formula works quickly and efficiently without producing harsh fumes. Vapco produces this formula for several OEM Ice Machine manufactures, ensuring you’re getting a true approved formula without the price tag of a “name brand” label. Higher concentration of active descalers than the competition ensuring you get more for your money. Works in flake, drum, tube, and cube ice machines.

NICKEL GUARD

Powerful Scale Removal for Nickel-Plated and Other Surfaces

NICKEL GUARD is a powerful, non-foaming cleaner specifically formulated to safely and effectively remove limescale buildup from stainless steel and nickel-plated surfaces and restore ice quality, capacity, and system efficiency. Hard water is the leading cause of ice machine failure. As water freezes, minerals are left behind, forming limescale deposits throughout the system. This buildup steadily decreases performance and ice production, eventually causing equipment jams and costly shutdowns. This USDA-approved solution, uses only high purity, food grade materials to restore equipment performance without harsh fumes, making it ideal for maintaining all varieties of ice machines and other valuable equipment.

Key Features and Benefits:

  • Removes Limescale: Restores the performance and efficiency of your equipment.
  • OEM Formula: produced for large ice machine manufacturers across the country.
  • High Concentration: Ideal concentration of phosphoric and citric acids to clean more with less product than the competition.
  • Safety: Safe for use on galvanized, stainless steel, and nickel-plated surfaces.
  • Non-Foaming and Non-Fuming: Reduces the risk of damage and ensures a safe working environment.
  • Meets USDA Standards: Approved for use in food processing environments.
